

Dr. Pam Deters is an Advanced Practice Medical Psychologist in Louisiana, authorized to prescribe psychiatric medications and provide other psychological services. She is the Chief Medical Officer and owner of Crossroads Behavioral Health. She was previously a tenured Associate Professor at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and has experience teaching and training psychology students at the undergraduate to doctoral level. In addition, she has experience supervising psychology interns and psychologists seeking licensure. Dr. Deters has a strong background in serving ethnic and underserved populations. A seasoned speaker, she has presented on mental health issues at the local, state, and federal level; and has testified before Congress on mental health priorities for ethnic minorities. Dr. Deters is active in multiple professional organizations. She is also employed at Southeastern Louisiana University providing psychiatric medication management and other psychological services.

Dr. Jeanette M. Edmonds is a Medical Psychologist in Louisiana and offers mental health treatment services including psychiatric medication management and evidence-based individual, group, and family psychotherapy. A Louisiana native, Dr. Edmonds holds degrees from Southeastern Louisiana University (SELU) in Hammond, LA and Louisiana Tech University (TECH) in Ruston, LA. Dr. Edmonds has over 25 years of experience in the mental health field and has treated patients for a broad range of psychological disorders across multiple care settings. In addition to serving the general public, Dr. Edmonds has worked with patient populations including US military Veterans, active duty service members and their families, university college students, children and adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, and children and adults in forensic rehabilitation. Dr. Edmonds has shared that her interest in psychology began at age 15, when she learned the term from a close friend receiving trauma treatment. Today, Dr. Edmonds’ passion for helping others is still a vital part of her primary goal — to offer patients efficient and effective treatment options to improve their mental health and enhance their quality of life.

Collin Thomas is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and a Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the state of Louisiana. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2009. In 2014, she received her Master’s of Nursing from the University of South Alabama, followed by her Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification. Collin furthered her education at Southeastern Louisiana University earning her Postmaster’s Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification in 2023. She serves as a preceptor for master’s degree students in pediatric and psychiatric specialties. Collin prescribes medication for psychiatric conditions, as well as psychoeducation and psychological interventions for a variety of psychiatric disorders. She specializes in medication management for children, adolescents, and young adults coping with exceptionalities of behavioral, emotional, and social functioning, including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, Learning Disorders, and Bipolar Disorder. In addition to providing psychiatric care in the outpatient setting, Collin also continues to work at a pediatric primary care clinic and residential treatment facility for adolescent females. Collin resides in Hammond, Louisiana with her husband and four children.

Dr. Brenna Sapotichne is a licensed psychologist specializing in psychological and psycho-educational evaluations for children and adults. She earned her doctorate in Applied Developmental Psychology from the University of New Orleans, where her research focused on the interactive effects of temperament and environmental stressors on children's social, emotional, and behavioral functioning during early childhood. Dr. Sapotichne completed her postdoctoral training at Crossroads Behavioral Health under the supervision of Dr. Deters and obtained her psychology license in 2019. Driven by a passion for helping individuals and their families gain a deeper understanding themselves, Dr. Sapotichne provides comprehensive evaluations that emphasize each person's unique strengths and support needs.

Dr. Claire Landrieu is a postdoctoral fellow at Crossroads Behavioral Health, working under the supervision of Dr. Brenna Sapotichne. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with a minor in Communication Studies, at Louisiana State University. She then earned her Doctoral Degree in School Psychology with a minor in Statistical Analysis, at the University of Northern Colorado. Dr. Landrieu's graduate research focused on exploring the dynamics of teacher-student relationships involving students with alternative learning needs. She has contributed to peer-reviewed journals and presented her findings at both regional and national conferences. Currently, a candidate for psychologist license in Louisiana, Dr. Landrieu conducts psychological and psychoeducational evaluations at CBHLA. Her extensive training in school settings gives her valuable insight into effectively applying evaluation results within the educational environment. Her areas of expertise include pyschoeducational assessments for children, adolescents, and adults facing a range of social, emotional, behavioral, and educational challenges, such as Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Learning Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, anxiety, and depression.

Urecia was born and raised in Angie, Louisiana. She has been a nurse for 17 years. A wife and mother of 5 wonderful boys When she’s not working she enjoys watching Netflix and spending time with her family.

Katie was born and raised in Covington, Louisiana. She has been a nurse for 15 years. She has been with Crossroads Behavioral Health for 6 years providing support to patients and medical staff. Outside of work, she enjoys a busy life raising two young children with her husband, Dusty.

Tricia has been the Office Manager with Crossroads since it was opened in July 2012. She oversees staffing, billing, insurance and day to day operations of the office. She enjoys spending time with her family that includes grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also has hobbies that include raising chickens, sewing and crocheting.

Miranda is the receptionist for Crossroads. She is in charge of patient intake and scheduling.
